We’re looking for people with a passion for knowledge.

When you have all the information of humankind at your fingertips, you need some way to organize it. When you have a huge amount of misinformation mixed in, you need some way to sort it all out.

The Digital Universe wants to do both. We want to build a place where people can get trustworthy Internet-based information about anything. We want to make sure that it’s true, accurate, verifiable, and shows all sides.

We need the help of stewards. A steward is an expert in a field. For academic fields like astronomy or history a steward would have a Ph. D. In other areas a steward would have demonstrable experience and recognition by others in the field. The important characteristics of a steward are a willingness to

• take on the responsibility of overseeing the development of a website
• work collegially with other stewards in the same field

We’re looking for people who want to create a Digital Universe that will over time become the Encyclopedia Galactica of knowledge that Carl Sagan and Isaac Asimov envisioned.
